Provider type: Clinical Psychologist
My job is to assist you in resolving the issues that brought you to therapy. First, we have to understand what makes you unhappy and the is source of your pain. Then we have to understand why it hurts. Then we explore what you feel comfortable doing differently, or, maybe, just looking at it differently may make a big difference for you. The decisions are yours. My approach is cognitive behavioral. I have had success with depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, anger management, and trauma related disorders among others. I can work with those whose mental health issues are complicated by alcohol and sometimes with drugs. We determine what you want to change and what you choose to accept. I work with adults, teens and couples.
I am a licensed psychologist with over 40 years of experience. I obtained by Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Rutgers University. For over 30 years I was the Director of Mental Health Services at Crozer Chester Medical Center while carrying a half time private practice. For the last 8 years I have been the Assistant Director of LifeStance Health, Inc. and the LifeStance Health liaison to the American Psychological Association for our continuing education program. I have served on the board of the Philadelphia Society of Clinical Psychologists and been its treasurer. It would be a pleasure to serve you.
