Provider type: Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Hi. I’m Marla McCulloch. I’m a licensed clinical social worker. More specifically, I am someone who helps people create change in their lives and relationships.
As an LCSW, I believe in the dignity and worth of all people. That means I approach each session with the goal of communicating acceptance and respect. Being able to give words to our challenges in a non-judgmental, supportive space can be healing.
I work with adults and adolescents (generally ages 12+) in many areas of concern. Specifically, I have a special focus on transgender individuals and their families, trauma recovery/PTSD, foster/adoption issues, and sexuality (both identity issues and relationship concerns). I work with individuals, couples, and families.
I have been in clinical practice or teaching future clinicians since 1993. I hold a masters in social service (MSS) from Bryn Mawr College School of Social Work and am working to complete my DSW from Millersville University (ABD). I am licensed as an LCSW in Pennsylvania and am a clinical supervisor for state licensure. Additionally, I was a professor in the social work and psychology departments at West Chester University for 10 years.
I believe in actively partnering with clients to address what is important to them at that time. If you are ready to explore what is getting in your way and how to address that, please reach out. I am available virtually (at the moment) and hope to return to our Glen Mills location soon.
