About Lauren Napolitano, PsyD

Congratulations on taking a big step toward understanding and addressing your
problem! Moving from anxiety and frustration into exploring your options is an important
step. Let me tell how I can help, and who I can help.

I’m a psychologist, a parent and a firm believer in empowering others to help
themselves. I know that asking for help can be hard, but even a few sessions of
therapy can help individuals to untangle old patterns and establish a new outlook. I
offer consultations and on-going therapy for individuals, couples and families.
Our life circumstances are constantly changing and this requires an ability to adapt and
generate new coping skills. I can help you to examine what strategies are working well
for you (including the willingness to ask for help!) and which strategies are leading to
frustration.

I earned my Psy.D. from Widener University in 2005 and have over 15 years of
experience in the field of clinical psychology. In my work at different treatment centers
(including Bryn Mawr Hospital, The Renfrew Center and Temple University Counseling
Center) I have had the opportunity to assess and treat individuals with many different
diagnoses including depression, anxiety, eating disorders, learning differences,
co-parenting challenges and grief.
