About Kristin Jackson, PsyD

My name is Kristin Jackson and I am a Licensed Psychologist in Pennsylvania. I have worked in a variety of treatment settings. However, I am most passionate about providing services via telehealth both to increase access to treatment and foster meaningful connection through technology. I am a Certified Clinical TeleMental Health Provider (CTMH), a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), a Child and Adolescent Trauma Professional (CATP), a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional-Child and Adolescent (CCATP-CA) and a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP).

I work with clients from 6 to 65 providing individual therapy which may involve caregivers, significant others and siblings as needed. At the core of my therapeutic approach is the development of a supportive, empathetic relationship guided by the use of various cognitive-behavioral approaches including Cognitive Therapy (CT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Specializing in trauma, grief and anxiety treatment, I teach and challenge clients to “walk through and work through” adverse experiences and learn to manage uncomfortable feelings in order to lead meaningful, fulfilling lives which are consistent with their values. As a Co-Vid 19 survivor, I have developed a special interest in working with fellow Co-Vid 19 survivors and their loved ones to address the lingering emotional and behavioral impact of the illness.
