Staff Qualifications

All DCPS professional staff are licensed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to practice psychiatry, psychology, social work or counseling and have an average of eight years of post-graduate experience. All DCPS clinicians receive professional supervision at least twice per month, with new staff participating at least weekly for the first six months of employment. As a condition of employment, each DCSP clinician is required to participate in ethics training provided by DCPS

 



Margaret Mary Albright MS, LPC
Margaret Mary Albright received a Master of Science degree in Pastoral Counseling at Neumann College in 2001. She is a national Board Certified Counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor, and serves on the Governor’s Mental Health Advisory Committee. Ms. Albright’s has 30 years experience and her treatment focus is with young children, parents, and couples.


Carol Allen, LCSW
Psychotherapist
Carol Allen received a Master’s degree in Social Work from Bryn Mawr College Graduate School of Social Services and Social Research in 1990. She is a licensed clinical social worker who treats adults, individually and in couples. Her specialties are women’s issues, addiction and recovery, including families and alcoholics.
 

Robert Anderson, LCSW

Robert Anderson received a Master’s degree in Social Work from Bryn Mawr College Graduate School of Social Services and Social Research in 1983. He currently treats pre-adolescents, adolescents, and adults.



Farimehr Arbab-Thompson, LCSW
Psychotherapy
Fari Thompson received a Master’s degree in Social Work from Bryn Mawr College Graduate School of Social Services and Social Research in 1988, and also received a Master’s degree of Education in Counseling from Antioch Graduate School in 1976. She is a licensed clinical social worker whose primary practice involves the treatment of adolescents and adults. An area of major expertise for Fari is the treatment of women with anxiety, depression, and mood disorders.

 

Margaret Ardizzi, LSW
Margaret Ardizzi received a Master’s degree in Social Work from Marywood University in 1998. She is a licensed social worker who treats children and adolescents and specializes in the treatment of ADHD, bi-polar disorders, eating disorders, and depression.

 

Theresa Armandi, LPC
Theresa Armandi received a Master’s degree in Psychology from La Salle University in 1995. She is a licensed professional counselor who treats adults and children over the age of 10 years old.



Andrea Braslove, LCSW
Psychotherapist
Andrea Braslove received a Master’s degree in Social Work from Temple University in 1979. She received Family Therapy training at the Institute for Comprehensive Family Therapy from 1981 to 1985. She is a licensed clinical social worker who works primarily with adults and adolescents in individual therapy, but does extensive couples therapy as well. Andrea specializes in the treatment of mood disorders, issues related to sexual abuse, bereavement, and unresolved anger from family of origin.

Heather Callaghan-Walsh

Heather Callaghan-Walsh received a Master’s degree in Social Work from Bryn Mawr College Graduate School of Social Services and Social Research in 1991. She is a licensed social worker who treats adolescents and adults. She specializes in treating adolescents.
 

Kathleen Charles, LCSW
Psychotherapy
Kathleen Charles received a Master’s degree in Social Work from Bryn Mawr College Graduate School of Social Services and Social Research in 1979. She has practiced in a variety of mental health settings, both outpatient and inpatient, over the past twenty years. Modalities of treatment include individual, family and couple’s therapy. Ms. Charles also has specialized training in Contextual Family Therapy.


Lynne DiCaprio, MA
Psychologist
Lynne DiCaprio, MA, is the Founder and Director of DCPS. A licensed psychologist, Lynne received a Master’s degree in Psychology from West Chester University and has twenty years of experience serving the mental health needs of children and adults. She has presented hundreds of training programs and seminars to business organizations, school districts, special interest and community groups.

Mary Dougherty, MA
Mary Dougherty received a Master’s degree in Psychology from Fordham University in 1979. She is a licensed psychologist who specializes in relaxation training, stress reduction, and coping with chronic pain. Mary also has extensive experience with providing therapy for patients with significant health issues, including chronic or terminal illness.

Nicole Gabriel, LCSW, Psy. D.
Psychotherapy
Nicole Gabriel received a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania and a Doctorate degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2005. Primarily, her experience has been working with children, adolescents, and adults with anxiety and depression.

Michael Glacken, M.D.
Psychopharmacology
Michael Glacken, MD, received his B.S. from Cabrini College, his MD from Temple University School of Medicine and completed his residency in psychiatry at Temple University Hospital in 1988. He is board certified and is the Medical Director of DCPS. Dr. Glacken has a special interest in the treatment of severe and persistent mental illness.

Richard Glover, LCSW
Psychotherapy
Richard Glover received a BS from Hahnemann University Hospital in 1979. He received a Master's degree in Social Work from Bryn Mawr College Graduate School of Social Services and Social Research in 1986. He is a licensed social worker who specializes in the treatment of sexual abuse and posttraumatic stress disorder.

Gail Gordon, LCSW Psychotherapy
Gail Gordon received a Master’s degree in Social Work from Temple University in 1976. She is a licensed social worker who provides individual therapy to adolescents and adults.



Dorothy Gjurin, LPC
Dorothy Gjurin received her master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Chestnut Hill College in 1998. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor with specialized practice in the area of psychological trauma, particularly sexual assault and abuse.

Robin Hayman, LPC

Robin Hayman received Master’s degree in Counseling from Eastern University in 1996. She is a licensed counselor who specializes in the treatment of children and families. Robin frequently sees children and parents of children who are diagnosed with Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Depression and various Anxiety Disorders.
 

John Hill, LCSW
John Hill received a Master’s degree in Social Work from Bryn Mawr College Graduate School of Social Services and Social Research in 1998. He is a licensed social worker who treats adolescents, adults, families, and couples.


 

Kyle Holsinger, LSW, PsyD
Kyle Holsinger received a Master’s degree in Social Work from Temple University in 1991 and a Doctorate degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2005. He is a licensed social worker who treats children and adults, and specializes in providing therapy for patients suffering from chronic medical conditions.



Kristi Kelso, LPC
Kristi Kelso received her MA in Counseling Psychology from Ball State University in 2003. She is a licensed professional counselor who treats children, adolescents, adults, and families. She specializes in the treatment of behavioral difficulties and parenting issues, as well as those experiencing abusive or traumatic situations.


Heather Kilroy, LPC
Heather Kilroy received a Master’s degree in Dance/Movement therapy from Hahnemann University in 1995. She is a licensed professional counselor who treats children, adolescents, and adults. Heather specializes in eating disorders, as well as anxiety and depression in children.

Barbara Knickerbocker, Ph.D.
Psychotherapy
Barbara Knickerbocker received a Ph.D. in Psychology from Colorado State University in 1980. She is a licensed psychologist who works with adults in individual, couples, and group psychotherapy. Barbara’s special interests include geriatrics and health psychology.

Yun Jung Lee, LPC, ATR-BC
Yun Jung Lee received her master’s degree from MCP Hahnemann University and is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She works with children and families and has a concentration in Art Therapy. In addition, Ms. Lee is bilingual and considers herself bicultural in practice.


Steven Levy, M.D.

Psychopharmacology
Dr. Levy received his Medical Degree from Hahnemann Medical College in 1975. He completed his Internal Medicine Internship at Crozier-Chester Medical Center in 1976 and his Psychiatric Residency at Hahnemann Hospital in 1980. Dr. Levy specializes in adult psychiatry with other related areas of interest being Disorders of the Voice. Dr. Levy is affiliated with Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.


Wendy Martini, LCSW
Psychotherapy
Wendy Martini received a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Penn State in 1993 and received an undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Penn State in 1990. Wendy treats children, adolescents, and adults, and specializes in the treatment of eating disorders and geriatrics.


Deborah Miller, Ph.D.
Psychotherapy
Deborah Miller received a Doctorate degree in Psychology from Temple University in 1996. Dr. Miller received a Master’s degree in Pastoral Counseling from Fordham University in 1984 and has studied the role of spirituality in the treatment process. She is a licensed psychologist who works with adolescents and adults using individual and family therapy and provides treatment for a variety of issues. Dr. Miller specializes in treating eating disorders and relational problems.

 

Robert Palladino, Jr., M.Ed.

Robert J. Palladino received a Master’s degree in Psychology from Temple University in 1982. He is a licensed psychologist who treats children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. Bob specializes in the treatment of people with grief issues, ADHD, and affective and anxiety disorders.


George Panrock, M.Ed.
Psychotherapy
George Panrock received a Master’s degree in Psychology from Temple University in 1976 and is a licensed psychologist and a Certified School Psychologist. His treatment areas of focus include stress and anger management; PTSD; relationship problems; work adjustment; parenting; physical rehabilitation counseling; loss, grief, and the mourning process; short-term cognitive behavioral therapy.


Lillian Rozin
Lillian Rozin received a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Bryn Mawr College in 1994. She is a licensed clinical social worker who treats teenagers and adults. She specializes in working with adolescents and young adults. Ms. Rozin also attended the University of Pennsylvania and NYU.


Bernadette Ryan
Bernadette Ryan received a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Bryn Mawr College in 1987. She completed her coursework for a certificate in Family Therapy from the Family Institute of Philadelphia. She is a licensed clinical social worker who treats children, adolescents, adults and families. She specializes in pain management.


William Rybicki PhD
Dr. Rybicki was raised and educated in New York City, NY, earning his B.A from Manhattan College and his M.A from New York University. He obtained a PhD in counseling psychology from the University of Utah. Since relocating to Pennsylvania, Dr. Rybicki has focused on individual and group psychotherapy with adults and adolescents across the life span. He blends together psychodynamic principles with literature, philosophy, and modern social theory. His personal interests are in classical music, modern art, exercise, and reading the New York Times.


Carol Scanlon, LCSW
Carol Scanlon received a Master’s degree in Social Work from Temple University in 1982. She is a licensed clinical social worker who treats adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. Carol has extensive experience in health care and specializes in the treatment of medical issues and grief/bereavement.

Kelli Schweitzer, LCSW
Kelli Schweitzer received a Master’s degree in Social Work from West Chester University in 1999. She is a licensed clinical social worker who treats children, adolescents, and adults. Kelli is a generalist, with a special interest in the treatment of trauma.


Kathleen Shannon, LPC
Kathie Shannon received her MA in Clinical Psychology from West Chester University in 1987. She is a licensed professional counselor who treats adolescents and adults. Kathie specializes in the treatment of anxiety and



Steven Simminger, Ph.D.

Steven Simminger received a Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from Rutgers University in 1971. Dr. Simminger treats children, adolescents and adults and is experienced in both marital and family therapy.



Allen Smith, LSW
Allen Smith received a Master’s degree from Rutgers University in 1966. He is a licensed social worker with a wide range of experience treating individual, marital and family difficulties.





 

Paree Stoulis, LCSW

Paree Stoulis received her Master’s degree in Social Work from Rutgers University in 1984. She is a licensed social worker who treats young children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. She also works with adults and specializes in working with recovering alcoholics and drug addicts, lesbians and gay men, and sexual abuse survivors. In addition to being licensed to practice psychotherapy, Ms. Stoulis has been certified by the National Association of Social Workers as a Qualified Clinical Social Worker and by the Academy of Certified Social Workers to be an Independent Clinical Practitioner.

Susan H. Thomas received a Master’s degree in Social Work from Bryn Mawr College Graduate School of Social Services and Social Research in 1994. She is a licensed social worker who treats children, adolescents and adults. She also treats couples and families.

Sandy Thompson received a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Hahnemann University in 1995. She is a licensed professional counselor who provides individual therapy to children, adults, and older adults. Sandy specializes in art therapy and working with the chronically mentally ill.

Emily Vener received a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Oregon in 1985. She is a licensed professional counselor who treats adolescents and adults. Emily specializes in the treatment of disassociative illnesses, ACOA’s, depressive disorders and the caregivers of seniors.

Charles J. Wilson received a Doctorate degree in Counseling Psychology from Temple University in 1973. He is a licensed psychologist who has been in practice for over 20 years. Dr. Wilson treats children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. He is in private practice in Blue Bell, PA.
